Nancy J. DePasquale

Nancy J. DePasquale is an Associate Partner in the Irvine office of Murchison & Cumming, LLP focusing her 25+ year practice on complex, high-exposure, catastrophic injury cases. She has broad experience in all areas of tort and personal injury cases— including premises, products, labor and employment, health care malpractice, auto/trucking, business torts, and contract disputes.

After graduating from California State University, Long Beach with an M.A. in Communication Disorders, Ms. DePasquale was an educator in Southern California schools for several years, and practiced as a Speech and Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence. This experience has proved invaluable to her legal career and specifically to school representation and employment law issues.

Ms. DePasquale was the 2010 and 2011 "Of Counsel" for the California Association of Independent Adjusters (CAIIA), and lectures and provides seminars on civil litigation and trial-related topics to insurance companies, businesses, attorneys, and student groups. She is "AV" rated by Martindale Hubbell and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Ms. DePasquale is a member of the State Bar of California, the United States District Court for the Central, Northern, and Southern Districts of California, 9th Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

In her most recent victory, Ms. DePasquale took a case, related to the going and coming rule, just two weeks before trial and successfully obtained a defense verdict. The matter involved a multiple vehicle accident with liability issues, including an employer negligence allegation against her client, which was a law firm.

When not at the office, Ms. DePasquale is active with her church, enjoys wine tasting and cooking and is a long time season ticket holder to Segerstrom and The Chance Theaters.
