Michael D. McEvoy
Michael D. McEvoy is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Murchison & Cumming, LLP. Mr. McEvoy is a member of the Wildland Fire Litigation practice group. He handles a diverse range of matters and focuses his practice in the areas of general liability, product liability, utilities, toxic tort and environmental litigation. Specializing in complex wildland fire litigation and the defense of utility companies, Mr. McEvoy currently handles multiple wildland fire matters for Southern California Edison.
Mr. McEvoy’s diverse practice includes business litigation and business transaction matters, wrongful death, and CERCLA and Benzene cases. He also handled a multi-million dollar complex regional pain syndrome case which settled favorably for his client.
Working closely with experts and analyzing damages and liability, Mr. McEvoy’s method for resolving cases is practiced and informed. Through continued education and research, he brings a knowledgeable perspective to each matter. Mr. McEvoy recently attended the Fifth Annual Wildland Fire Litigation Conference in San Diego, California.
Contributing legal expertise to the community, Mr. McEvoy participated in Arcadia Law Day, providing legal information to those individuals who otherwise would not have access to such resources.
Mr. McEvoy attended the International Association of Defense Counsel's 2011 Trial Academy.
