Kenneth I. Litton

With more than 20 years of litigation experience, Kenneth “Ken” Litton has forged a reputation as a dependable, loyal, and effective advocate. Ken’s practice includes extensive elevator-related injury cases, general personal injury litigation, and multi-million dollar construction defect actions. As a Partner at the Northern California office, Ken's clients know they can rely on him to deliver positive results cost-effectively and efficiently. Before joining the team at M&C, Ken’s experience includes successfully handling over fifty elevator-related cases with a high success rate for summary judgment motions. In addition, Ken served as the general contractor and case liaison counsel on a large coordinated construction defect action covering over fifteen lawsuits spread across three jurisdictions with over fifty parties. His expertise includes but is not limited to jury and bench trial experience, binding arbitrations, alternative dispute resolution, contract drafting, and advising clients on sound risk management practices. Ken excels at depositions which lays the groundwork for many successful mediations.

Ken attended Stonehill College, where he received his Bachelor's degree in 1990 with cum laude honors and graduated with his J.D. in 1994 at Golden Gate University School of Law with Highest Honors. During his time at the Golden Gate University of Law, he was a staff member and editor of Golden Gate University Law Review, a recipient of multiple American Jurisprudence and Merit Scholarship Awards, and received the Law School’s Corporate and Commercial Law Award for Academic Excellence. Ken also proudly served as an intern for two summers to Federal District Judge Claudia Wilken.

Ken is an avid scuba diver and hopes to go cage diving someday to see great white sharks. Originally from the Philippines, he speaks Tagalog and a regional dialect called Ilonggo. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the Alameda County Bar Association.
