Christopher M. McDonald

Christopher M. McDonald is a Partner in the Irvine office of Murchison & Cumming, LLP focusing his practice on environmental, products liability, toxic tort, food-borne illness, premises liability, commercial and general liability matters that involve personal injury, wrongful death, property damage and medical monitoring claims.

Mr. McDonald works closely with clients to develop and execute strategies to avoid litigation when possible and to efficiently manage and favorably resolve matters if they proceed to litigation.

He has successfully represented product manufacturers and distributors, national retailers, property owners and managers, contractors, and independent business owners in both individual lawsuits and multi-party complex actions involving claims of occupational exposure to toxic materials and products. He is currently representing a regional grocery store chain in numerous premises liability and ADA claims and has been able to settle numerous cases on behalf of the chain at or below the settlement value target established by the client and its insurance carrier.

When not at the office Mr. McDonald enjoys spending time he enjoys spending time with his daughter, supporting his UCLA Bruins, and hiking the nature trails of Orange County.
