John Podesta to Speak on Construction Defects for Continuing Education of the Bar Program

SAN FRANCISCO—John H. Podesta will speak on construction defects litigation for a program sponsored by the Continuing Education of the Bar on March 22, 2013 at the Bar Association of San Francisco.

Mr. Podesta will be a panelist in a program entitled, "Construction Defects Litigation: From A to Z." In addition to Mr. Podesta, who will discuss issues in construction defects litigation from a defense perspective, the panel includes one of the authors of SB 800, California’s construction defects law, plaintiff’s counsel, coverage counsel and a mediator. Program highlights include discussions on prelitigation procedures, SB 800, risk transfers, wraps, creative dispute resolution and new cases, statutes, and hot topics.
