Murchison & Cumming Attorneys Volunteer at Arcadia's Law Day

ARCADIA--Murchison & Cumming attorneys Joyce H. Hahn and James Sargent volunteered for the City of Arcadia's annual Law Day on May 12 at the Arcadia Public Library.

Ms. Hahn and Mr. Sargent were among a panel of lawyers providing free brief one-on-one consultations to San Gabriel Valley residents on a spectrum of legal issues and problems ranging from consumer complaints and business transactions to landlord-tenant issues.

The Murchison attorneys said they enjoyed using their legal knowledge to serve the community, and were pleased with the high turnout of attorney volunteers. Ms. Hahn and Mr. Sargent are both active in community service. Ms. Hahn volunteers with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, through the Korean American Bar Association, and Mr. Sargent has mentored high school students interested in law careers.

The Arcadia Chinese Association, chaired by former Arcadia Mayor Gary Kovacic, sponsored the community event.
