Madison K. Moreno

Madison K. Moreno is an Associate in the San Diego office of Murchison & Cumming. She obtained her B.A. in Communication with minors in Diversity and Law, Societies, and Justice at the University of Washington in Seattle. During her first year of college, Madison took a class on miscarriages of justice and wrongful convictions and became interested in studying law. Madison believes that good communication supports better outcomes for her clients, and taking time to build relationships and develop a good rapport is key to success. She also grew up with parents who practice law, so once she learned more about the legal system, she became passionate about wanting to help people navigate it.

Madison received her law degree from Seattle University School of Law with an Academic Honors Scholarship and graduated cum laude. While earning her law degree, Madison volunteered in a low-bono legal clinic and accepted a part-time position as a Summer Associate at M&C in the summer of 2020. She continued as a full-time Law Clerk after her second year of law school at M&C. Madison is passionate about Disability Justice and volunteered with Disability Rights Washington for four years before moving back to San Diego, where she was born and raised.

Madison is a dedicated volunteer for an animal rescue in San Diego, where she fosters puppies and helps them find their forever homes. Away from the office, she enjoys going on adventures with her dog Louise, spending time with her friends and family, and eating Sprinkles cupcakes.
